Smoked Turkey Pot Pie
Ingredients
- 1 quart. turkey broth
- 1/4 to 1/2 pound grnd smoked turkey
- 1 quart. potatoes, cut in med. cubes
- Fresh parsley
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 24 ounce. pot pie squares or possibly bows
Directions
- Combine turkey broth and 1 qt water in large Dutch oven. Heat to boiling, then layer potatoes, grnd turkey, pot pie, parsley, salt and pepper. Continue layering till all ingredients are used. Add in water as needed. Cook till pot pie is tender and potatoes are soft. Stir gently as needed to separate pot pie. A very tasty and economical meal.

- Smoked turkey broth is salty; don't over salt before tasting.
