Slow Cooked Roast With Vegetables

Ingredients

  • 1 (2-3 lb.) rump roast
  • 2 tbsp. flour
  • 1 sm. onion
  • Potatoes
  • Carrots
  • Celery
  • Salt & pepper

Directions

  1. Salt and pepper roast, then rub entire roast with flour. Place in crock pot or possibly slow cooker. Cook on low for 8 to 10 hrs, basting occasionally with juice from the meat. Half way through cooking time add in onion, potatoes, carrots and celery. (Add in as many vegetables as you want.) Best to remove and slice just before serving. Serves 4 to 6. This is excellent for the working woman.
