Slow Baking Beef Stew
Ingredients
- 2 lbs. beef stew meat
- 1 med. onion, sliced
- 1 stalk celery, sliced
- 6 carrots, pared and cut in chunks
- 2 teaspoon salt
- 1 tbsp. sugar
- 2 tbsp. tapioca
- 3/4 c. tomato juice
Directions
- Place the first 4 ingredients in 11 x 7 inch ungreased pan; blend salt, sugar, and tapioca; sprinkle over ingredients in pan. Add in tomato juice; cover pan with foil, crimp, and seal tightly. Bake at 250 degrees for 4 hrs.
