Sizzling Citrus Prawns
A light, healthy way to enjoy prawns. A great summer dish. You can barbecue,grill or just cook them on plain stove top too.It tastes good anyway. Ingredients
- 675g (1 1/2 lb) king prawns, peeled and deveined
- 2 oranges, zested and juiced
- 3 limes, zested and juiced
- 1 tsp sugar
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt, or to taste
- 3 cloves garlic,crushed fairly smooth
Directions
- Marinate the prawns with orange juice,lime juice,sugar,salt,garlic and oil.
- Place the prawns on a skewer and barbecue them.
- Heat a large,wide non stick fry pan on medium heat.place prawns on skewers and cook them thro' till done
- Grill them in an oven till done.
- Serve them with a glass of wine on the side.....or for kids serve with a glass of fruit juice.
