Shrimp Or Crab Bisque
Ingredients
- 1 3/4 pound cooked & prepared shrimp or possibly 1 pound crabmeat
- 1/4 c. minced onion
- 1/2 c. minced celery
- 2 pods crushed garlic
- 1 cubed potato
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1 quart. lowfat milk
- 2 tbsp. flour
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon dry parsley
Directions
- Cook onion, celery and garlic in the butter. Blend in the flour; add in lowfat milk and seasonings. Stir till thickened, then add in shrimp or possibly crabmeat and potato. Sprinkle parsley on top and serve with croutons.
