  • Shrimp Au Gratin For Two

    Ingredients

    •     OZBURN
    • 1 tsp Paprika
    • 1/2 lb Shrimp, cooked -- cleaned
    • 1 c. Sharp cheddar cheese --
    •     Cubed
    • 2 Tbsp. Butter
    • 3 x -slices white bread --
    •     Cubed
    • 2 Tbsp. Flour
    • 2 Tbsp. Butter -- melted
    • 2/3 c. Evaporated lowfat milk
    •     Grated Parmesan cheese
    • 1/3 c. Water

    Directions

    1. Arrange shrimp on the bottom of a 1 qt butter baking dish; heat butter in a saucepan, add in flour, and cook the roux gently for 1 to 2 min; whisk in the lowfat milk and water and cook till sauce is thick and smooth; add in paprika and cheddar cheese, stirring till cheese is melted; pour sauce over shrimp; toss the bread with melted butter and spread proportionately over shrimp; sprinkle with Parmesan and bake in a pre-heated 400F oven for 15 to 20 min or possibly till bubbly and golden.
