Sesame Beef And Asparagus Salad
Ingredients
- 1 lb Top Round Steak
- 4 c. Fresh asparagus slice in 2-inch pcs
- 3 Tbsp. Lite soy sauce
- 2 Tbsp. Sesame oil
- 1 Tbsp. Rice wine or possibly cider vinegar
- 1/2 tsp Fresh grated gingerroot
- 1 Tbsp. Sesame seeds
- Lettuce leaves, optional
Directions
- Broil steak to desired doneness. Cold and cut into thin diagonal strips. Cook asparagus in a small amount of water 30 to 60 seconds. Drain and cold. Combine beef and asparagus. Blend the soy sauce, oil, vinegar and gingerroot; pour over beef and asparagus. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and toss lightly. Serve hot or possibly at room temperature, on lettuce if you like.
- Yields 6 servings.
