Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 c. dry breadcrumbs
  • 1 tsp MAGGI Onion Stock Pwdr
  • 1 lrg egg, beaten
  • 3 Tbsp. lowfat milk, (3 to 4)
  • 4 piece veal or possibly beef schnitzel
  • 1 pkt MAGGI Brown Onion Gravy Mix
  •     Boiling Water
  • 2 tsp tomato paste
  • 2 Tbsp. lowfat sour cream
  • 4 Tbsp. oil, approximately

Directions

  1. Combine the breadcrumbs and stock pwdr on a shallow plate.
  2. Combine the egg and lowfat milk in a shallow dish.
  3. Dip the schnitzel into the breadcrumb mix then into the egg mix.
  4. Coat again with breadcrumbs.
  5. Chill for 10 min.
  6. Heat the oil in a frying pan.
  7. Add in the schnitzel and cook for 5-6 min or possibly till golden. Turn once.
  8. Place the sauce fold in a measuring jug.
  9. Make up to 1 c. with boiling water and whisk till smooth.
  10. Whisk in the tomato paste and lowfat sour cream.
  11. Serve the sauce with the schnitzel.
