Sausage Stuffed Mushrooms
Ingredients
- 30 to 40 large, fresh, stemmed mushrooms
- 3 tbsp. butter, melted
- 1 pound bulk sausage, cooked
- 1/2 c. toasted bread crumbs
- 1/2 c. pizza sauce
- 1 egg
- Mozzarella cheese
Directions
- Dip mushrooms in butter. Stuff with a mix of sausage, bread crumbs, sauce and egg. Top with a 1 inch square of sliced mozzarella cheese. Bake at 425 degrees for 15 min. Serve at once.
