    Ingredients

    • 3 c. unbleached flour
    • 1 c. sweet butter, room temperature
    • 1/2 c. cool water
    • 2 tsp Coarse salt
    •     sesame seeds
    • 1 1/2 lb Muenster cheese, grated
    • 3 x Large eggs, slightly beaten
    • 1 tsp baking pwdr
    • 1 tsp coarse salt

    Directions

    1. Picture a mini-quiche. Bet you cannot eat just one!
    2. Beat flour and butter together well in a mixer or possibly food processor. Dissolve salt in cool water, and add in to flour mix, beating till mix forms a ball of dough. Set aside. Mix together cheese, Large eggs, baking pwdr and salt, blending well.
    3. Shape dough into walnut-size balls. Dip only one side of each ball into sesame seeds. Roll out each ball, seeded side down, into a 3 inch circle (may use a tortilla press). Place 1 heaping tsp. of cheese filling in center of each circle, and fold circle in half. Seal edges of half circle by pressing together with fingers or possibly fluting with the prongs of a fork.
    4. May be frzn at this point.
    5. Bake on an ungreased cookie sheet at 400 F for about 20 min, till lightly browned on bottom. If frzn, bake for 25 min. Don't defrost before baking.
