Typical Mexican fresh salsa. It gets its name from the colors in the Mexican Flag.
- 2 large tomatoes
- 1/2 onion, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup cilantro, chopped
- 2 to 4 Serrano Chiles, optional
- salt to taste
- Mix all ingredients together in a bowl. Serve with chips or a main dish such as tacos, burritos, carnitas or tostadas.
