Salmon With Brown Sugar And Mustard Glaze
Ingredients
- 3 Tbsp. light brown sugar
- 1 Tbsp. honey
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1/4 c. dijon mustard
- 2 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 2 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
- 1 Tbsp. finely grated ginger
- vegetable oil
Directions
- Heat brown sugar, honey and butter in a small over medium high heat. Remove from heat and whisk in the mustard, soy sauce, extra virgin olive oil and ginger. Let cold.
- Preheat grill to med heat & brush salmon with oil and season with salt pepper. Place salmon skin side down on grill. Coat flesh of fillet with brown sugar mix, Grill 6-8 min to medium doneness, turning once after 5-6 min. (depends on thickness of fillet) - I coat the other side with sauce once flipped too. Can also be broiled.
