Round Steak Italiano Recipe

Ingredients

1 1/2 lbs. round steak 1 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon oregano

1/4 teaspoon pepper 1 (15 1/2 ounce.) jar spaghetti sauce with mushrooms or possibly the Ragu Italian cooking sauce 1 (16 ounce.) can whole sm. onions, liquid removed (optional)

Directions

1. Cut steak into 5 or possibly 6 serving size pcs and place in a slow-cooking pot. Sprinkle with salt, oregano, and pepper. Cover meat with spaghetti sauce. Cover crock pot and cook 7 to 9 hrs on low or possibly till meat is tender. If onions are used, turn control to high; add in onion. Cook on high 10-15 min. Makes 5 or possibly 6 servings.
2. Variation: Cut meat in smaller pcs and pour meat and sauce over noodles.
