  • Rich Chocolate Truffles

    Ingredients

    • 4 ounce Semisweet chocolate, broken into small pcs
    • 1 Tbsp. Liqueur of your choice - Grand Marnier or possibly Cointreau, or possibly Tia Maria, Chocolate Almond, etc.
    • 2 c. Confectioner's sugar, sifted
    • 1/2 c. Unsalted butter, softened slightly
    • 2 Tbsp. Instant chocolate lowfat milk mix (or possibly cocoa pwdr)

    Directions

    1. Heat the chocolate over low heat. Remove from heat and beat in the liqueur, confectioner's sugar and butter till smooth. If necessary, add in a little more confectioner's sugar to give a hard paste. Divide into 24 pcs and shape into balls. Roll each one in the instant chocolate lowfat milk mix till completely covered, then place in paper candy cases.
