Ingredients

  • 1 lb Lean or possibly regular grnd beef
  • 1 1/2 c. Water
  • 1/4 tsp Pepper
  • 1 can (28-ounce) whole tomatoes, undrained
  • 1/2 pkt (2-3 ounce) onion soup mix (1 envelope)
  • 1 pkt (10-ounce) frzn peas and carrots
  • 1 c. Bisquick original baking mix
  • 1/3 c. Lowfat milk
  • 1 Tbsp. Parsley flakes

Directions

  1. COOK grnd beef in Dutch oven, stirring frequently, till brown; drain.
  2. Stir in water, pepper, tomatoes and soup mix (dry); break up tomatoes. Heat to boiling.
  3. STIR in peas and carrots. Heat to boiling; reduce heat. Mix remaining ingredients; drop by heaping tablespoonfuls onto beef mix (don't drop directly into liquid).
  4. COOK uncovered 10 min. Cover and cook 10 min longer. 6 servings.
