Pumpkin Spiced and Iced Cookies

- 2 1/4 cups flour
- 1 1/2 teas pumpkin pie spice
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 can 15oz Libby's 100% Pure Pumpkin
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 cups (12oz pkg) semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup chopped walnuts optional
- Vanilla Glaze (recipe below)
- For Glaze
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1-1 1/2 tbsp milk
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- combine in a small bowl mix well
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375
- Grease baking sheets or line with parchment.
- Combine flour, pumpkin pie spice, baking powder, baking soda and salt in medium bowl. Beat butter and sugar in a large mixing bowl til creamy.
- Beat in pumpkin, eggs and vanilla. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in chips and nuts. Drop by rounded tablespoons onto prepared baking sheets.
- Bake for 15-20 mins or till edges are lightly browned. Cool on baking sheets for 2 mins, remove to wire rack to cool. Spread or drizzle with Vanilla Glaze
