    I had never heard of pretzel salad much less tasted it until I moved to Delaware. We love it. It's a hit at every BBQ I bring it to. The kids love it !!!!

    Ingredients

    • bag of pretzels
    • stick of butter
    • sugar
    • 8 oz. softened cream cheese
    • 8 oz. cool whip
    • 1 large box strawberry Jell-o
    • bag frozen strawberries

    Directions

    1. miz together and press into a casserole dish,
    2. 2 cups crushed pretzels
    3. and 3/4 cup melted butter
    4. and 4 tsp sugar. Bake at 400 degrees for 8 minutes. Let cool completely. If you don't allow to cool completely, the mix will all run through to the bottom. Trust me on this.
    5. While the pretzels are colling mix together the cool whip, cream cheese and 1 cup sugar. spread over the cooled pretzels. Next mix the box of Jell-o with 1-3/4. Dissolve the Jell-o then add 2-1/2 cups crushed strawberries. Chill in fridge till Jell-o is set ( about 2 hours )
