    With lots of flavorful spices and ingredients, including fresh carrots,cauliflower and green peas fresh or frozen prawns, you’ll have a tasty main dish in minutes.Super fast, super easy, and super tasty!.

    Ingredients

    • Fresh or frozen prawns 600 gms
    • Rice soaked-3 cups
    • 1 tsp each garlic and ginger finely crushed
    • salt and pepper to taste
    • mild red or green chillis-4
    • 2 inch cinnamon sticks
    • 2 cardamoms
    • 2 cloves
    • oil-6 tbsp
    • onions finely chopped-2 med sized
    • coconut milk -2 cups( or you could use vegetable stock if you wish)
    • green peas fresh or frozen-1 cup
    • cauliflower chopped into small florets-1/2 cup
    • carrots diced small- 1/2 cup

    Directions

    1. Slice and mix prawns with salt and pepper
    2. grind chillis and whole spices with a little water to a paste consistency.
    3. Heat oil in a pan
    4. Add onions and saute.Add crushed Ginger and garlic and further saute for 1 min
    5. Add vegetables and marinated prawns and saute well.
    6. Add ground paste and mix well.
    7. Add coconut milk and stir.
    8. Add 4 cups water.
    9. Cover and cook till rice is done.
    10. Serve with spiced yogurt and some crisps on the side.
