Pork And Noodles In Peanut Sauce
Ingredients
- 2 c. warm water
- 1 pkt MAGGI 2 Minute Noodles, Oriental Flavour
- 2 tsp oil
- 400 gm pork schnitzel, cut into thin strips
- 1 pkt MAGGI Satay Sauce Mix
- 2 Tbsp. peanut butter
- 2 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 4 x spring onions, sliced
- 1 sm bunc spinach, washed and torn into pcs
Directions
- Bring the water to the boil.
- Break the noodles and add in to the water with the contents of the flavour sachet. Cook for 2 min.
- Drain the noodles, reserving 3/4 c. cooking liquid.
- Set the noodles and liquid aside.
- Heat the oil in a large pan.
- Add in the pork. Stir fry over a high heat for 2-3 min. Remove and set aside.
- Combine the sauce mix, reserved cooking liquid, peanut butter and soy sauce.
- Add in to the pan. Bring to the boil, stirring constantly, then simmer for 2 min.
- Add in the noodles and pork.
- Cook, stirring, for 2-3 min.
- Add in the spring onions and spinach. Cook, stirring, for a further 1 minute.
- Serve with rice.
