Use for Steak and Onion Pie

Ingredients

  • 1 c. all-purpose flour, sifted
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/3 c. Crisco
  • 1 egg, slightly beaten

Directions

  1. Mix flour and salt.
  2. Add in 1/2 of Crisco and cut in until
  3. fine as meal.
  4. Add in remaining Crisco and cut in until particles are size of large peas.
  5. Add in egg, mixing thoroughly into a dough.
  6. Makes sufficient pastry to cover an 8 inch casserole.
