Pistachio cookies
These Indian style cookies are a great treat for kids.You can use almonds or cashews if you wish instead of pistachios.You can serve them with high tea or coffee or with some whipped cream on the side. Ingredients
- Powdered sugar-200 gm
- Pistachio powder-100 gm
- plain flour-100 gm
- unsalted Butter-100 gm
- milk powder-200 gm
- full milk cream-40 ml
Directions
- melt and warm butter slightly
- In a deep bowl,mix milk powder,flour,pistachio powder and,cream and mix till a soft dough is formed.
- Roll out the dough into 1/2 inch sheet and cut into rounds.Grease a cookie sheet and place these cookies a little apart from each other and bake in a preheated oven at 160 C for 10-15 minutes.
