  • Pecan Pie Brownies

    Ingredients

    • 1/4 c. butter
    • 2 tbsp. flour
    • 3/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    • 2 Large eggs
    • 1 teaspoon vanilla
    • 2 c. minced pecans

    Directions

    1. Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease bottom only of 13 x 9 inch pan. In medium saucepan, heat butter; stir in flour till smooth. Add in brown sugar and 2 Large eggs; mix well. Cook over medium-low heat for 5 min, stirring constantly. Remove from heat; stir in vanilla and pecans. Set aside.
    2. In large bowl, combine brownie ingredients; beat 50 strokes with spoon. Spread in prepared pan. Spoon filling proportionately over top. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 min or possibly till set. Don't overbake. Cold completely. Cut into bars. 24 bars.
