Peanut Butter/Marshmallow Popcorn Bars

Ingredients

  • 1/4 c. butter or possibly margarine
  • 1/2 lb miniature marshmallows
  • 1/2 c. creamy or possibly crunchy peanut butter
  • 2 quart popped popcorn
  • 12 ounce semi-sweet chocolate chips
  •     or possibly lowfat milk chocolate chips

Directions

  1. Keep popcorn hot in 200-degree oven. In top of double boiler, combine butter, marshmallows and peanut butter.
  2. Heat, stirring till marshmallows are melted and mix is smooth. Combine immediately with hot popcorn, stirring till well mixed. Turn into greased 9- by 13-inch pan.
  3. Press with spoon or possibly fingers into pan.
  4. Heat chocolate chips with a little water in top of double boiler or possibly in microwave oven. Spread over popcorn. Let set till hard. Cut into 16 bars. [email protected]
