Peanut Butter Chocolate Ice Cream

Ingredients

  • 2 x Tall, (13 ounce.) cans evaporated lowfat milk, divided
  • 2 sqr , (2 ounce.) unsweetened chocolate
  • 2 x Large eggs
  • 3/4 c. Sugar
  • 4 Tbsp. Peanut butter, up to 6

Directions

  1. Combine 1 c. evaporated lowfat milk and chocolate in small saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, till chocolate melts and mix is smooth. Beat Large eggs and sugar in large bowl till well blended. Beat in peanut butter till smooth. Stir in warm chocolate mix. Stir in remaining 2 1/3 c. evaporated lowfat milk. Chill till well chilled. Pour into ice cream freezer container and freeze according to manufacturer's directions.
  2. Makes about 2 qts.
