  • pasta beef and tomato casserole Lowfat

    Ingredients

    • 2 lbs gound chicken
    • 10 oz ground chicken
    • 4 Tbsp chopped onions
    • 1/2 tsp chopped onions
    • 3 Tbsp chopped celery
    • 1/2 tsp chopped celery
    • 1 quart diced canned tomatoes
    • 1/4 cup diced canned tomatoes
    • 5 Tbsp tomato puree
    • 1/2 tsp tomato puree
    • 3/4 tsp salt
    • 3/4 cup red chili sauce
    • 3/4 tsp black pepper
    • 12 oz uncooked macaroni

    Directions

    1. Cook chicken in kettle. Stir often to prevent lumps from forming.
    2. Drain off fat.
    3. Add onions and celery to meat - cook until tender
    4. Add tomatoes and seasonings - simmer 45 - 60 minutes
    5. Cook macaroni according to directions on package omitting oil.
    6. Fold cooked macaroni into tomato-chicken mixture.
    7. Simmer until hot - serve with 6 oz spoodle
