    • 1 pkt Cole slaw mix
    • 1 bn Green onions, sliced
    • 1 pkt Oriental or possibly chicken ramen noodles
    • 1/2 c. Sunflower seeds
    • 1/2 c. Almond slivers
    • 1/2 c. Sugar
    • 1/2 c. Vegetable oil
    • 7 tsp Vinegar
    • 1 pkt Italian dressing mix


    1. Mix sugar, oil, vinegar, italian dressing mix, and foil packet from ramen noodles. Set aside. Crush ramen noodles into small pcs. In large bowl combine cole slaw mix, ramen noodles, green onions, and sunflower seeds. Pour dressing over, and toss to coat.

      My version of Asian Slaw:

      16 oz pkg Cole slaw
      One pkg Ramen noodles
      1/4 cup olive oil
      1/2 cup white vinegar
      1/4 cup sugar or Splenda
      spice packet removed from
      Ramen noodle pkg
      1/2 cup baby sunflower seeds
      Optional: 1/2 cup Craisins

      Directions: Dump Coke slaw into 2-3 qt. bowl. Open Ramen pkg and remove spice packet. Put noodles in a processor and process until less than 1/4 inch. Empty spice packet in a soup bowl and add vinegar, oil, sugar and beat with fork till sugar dissolves. Add noodles, spice mixture, sunflower seeds to cole slaw and mix. Tastes better after several hours after marinating.
