    Ingredients

    • 2 cups all-purpose flour
    • 3/4 cup margarine, melted
    • 1/3 cup powder sugar
    • 1/4 tsp. salt
    • 1/2 cup York mint patties, pieces
    • Filling:
    • 1 (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
    • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
    • 1 1/2 Tbsp. peppermint schnapps
    • 1/2 cups dark chocolate chips
    • Topping:
    • 1 (8 oz.) cool whip
    • 3 drops red food coloring

    Directions

    1. Crust: Beat flour, margarine, sugar and salt together.
    2. Pour 2/3 of batter in a 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking pan. Place mint pieces over the batter. Pour rest of the batter in the pan.
    3. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.
    4. Cool completely.
    5. Filling: Beat cream cheese, vanilla extract. peppermint schnapps and chocolate chips.
    6. Spread over the crust.
    7. Topping: Mix cool whip and red food coloring together.
    8. Spread over the filling layer.
    9. Decorate.
