New Lasagna

My sister in law Julie taught me how to cook this quick easy meal. It tasted like lasagna to me hence the name.

Ingredients

  • 48 oz spaghetti sauce (cans or jars 24 oz ea. I use hunts) but what ever your favorite
  • 1 jar Ragu Alfredo sauce
  • 1 lb pkg Johnson Bratwurst (not the links)
  • 2 lbs hamburger meat
  • 2 pkg mozzarella cheese
  • 1 pkg Rotini or wacky noodles (spiral kind)

Directions

  1. In seperate skillets brown Bratwurst sausage and hamburger meat. in a separate rather large sauce pan heat spaghetti and alfredo sauce together mix well. In another large sauce pan fill with water bring to a boil add noodles cook until tender. When meat is cooked through remove from heat. drain both meats then in a large bowl mix them together. In a 9 x 13 in baking pan it will need to be deep at least 3 inches deep. Layer the ingredients example layer of meat, layer of noodles, layer of cheese. Repeat this until all sauce, meat, noodles and cheese have been added. Preheat oven to 350 F bake in oven for about 20-30 minutes until all cheese is melted and top has started to lightly brown.
