New Favorite Chicken and Herb Stuffing Casserole

- 2 1/2 C Pepperidge Farm or Stouffer's Herb Stuffing
- meat from one roasted or rotisserie chicken, chopped
- 1 stick butter or margarine, melted
- 1 can cream of mushroom or cream of celery soup
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 8 oz. sour cream - low fat OK
- 8 oz. your favorite shredded cheese - I liked sharp cheddar
Directions
- Heat oven to 350.
- In a 2 qt. baking dish, mix the stuffing with the butter.
- Remove 1/2 C of the stuffing for later.
- Layer the chopped chicken over the stuffing.
- Mix soup, sour cream, cheese, pour over chicken and smooth to edges.
- Top with remaining stuffing and bake 30-35 minutes.
- optional: toasted almond on top of soup/cheese mix.
