Never Fail Chocolate Frosting
Ingredients
- 2 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. light corn syrup
- 1/2 c. canned lowfat milk
- 1/2 c. butter
- 2 sq. unsweetened chocolate
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
Directions
- Mix all ingredients except vanilla in sauce pan. Stir over low heat till butter and chocolate are melted. Boil one minute or possibly till candy thermometer reads 220 degrees. Remove from heat stir in vanilla, beat till thick sufficient to spread. Yields frosting for three layers.
