My Best Bread Pudding
Ingredients
- 3 c. dry bread cubes
- 1/2 c. raisins
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions
- Use a 1 1/2 qt casserole. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Put together in greased casserole:
- In separate bowl, mix:
- To this, add in slowly: 2 cups scalded lowfat milk. Add in to bread cubes and raisins. Bake uncovered for approximately 1 hour. Serves 6 to 8 people.
