Mushroom Cloud
This savory dish is easy to prepare and will add zing to any main dish. Ingredients
- 2 lb. Mushrooms (white, or bella) sliced.
- 4 Tbs. Margerine or butter
- 1 cup dry white wine
- 1 cup Grand Marnier
- 1 cup grated cheese prefer sharp cheeses
Directions
- 1. Melt butter or Margerine first
- 2. Add Mushrooms
- 3. Cook until not quite brown
- 4. add wine-cook until tender
- 5. add Grand Marnier (liquer)
- 6. Cover and cook 3 minutes
- 5. Add Shredded Cheese
- 6. Cover pan and melt cheese
- Serves 2 add 1/2 lb for additional guests. Add proportional for everything else. Grand Marnier goes along way.
