Ingredients

  • 1 quart. lowfat milk
  • 8 tbsp. granulated sugar
  • 4 tbsp. cornstarch
  • 4 tbsp. cocoa
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions

  1. Cook 1 1/2 pints lowfat milk in double boiler. Add in 4 Tbsp. sugar and stir. In another bowl combine 4 Tbsp. sugar, 4 Tbsp. cornstarch and 4 Tbsp. cocoa. Slowly add in 1/2 pint cool lowfat milk and stir to remove all lumps. When smooth, add in this combination slowly to warmed lowfat milk in pan. Cook and stir constantly till thickened (about 10 min). Add in vanilla and pour into Pyrex dish or possibly individual dessert dishes. This is easy to prepare and tastes much much better than packaged chocolate pudding.
