Mom's Snickerdoodles

Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening
3/4 c. sugar
1 egg
1 1/3 c. flour

1 teaspoon cream of tartar
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
Dash of salt

Directions

Mix together and make into balls. Roll balls in cinnamon sugar. Bake at 400 degrees for 8 to 10 min.
