Ingredients

  • 2 c. Flour
  • 1/2 c. Powdered sugar
  • 2/3 c. Butter
  • 16 ounce Cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 c. Granulated sugar
  • 2 x Large eggs
  • 10 ounce Frzn strawberries, thawed and undrained
  •     Fresh strawberries, cleaned & sliced

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix flour and sugar.
  2. Cut in butter till mix resembles fine crumbs.
  3. Press firmly and proportionately in bottom of ungreased rectangular pan, 13 x 9 x 2 inches.
  4. Bake 15 min.
  5. Beat cream cheese in medium bowl till smooth and fluffy.
  6. Beat in granulated sugar and Large eggs.
  7. Stir in strawberries (undrained).
  8. Spread cream cheese mix over baked layer.
  9. Bake 20 to 25 min or possibly just till center is set.
  10. Cold completely. Cover loosely and chill about 4 hrs or possibly till hard.
  11. Cut into about 2 x 1 1/2 inch bars. Garnish with sliced strawberries, if you like.
