  • Mini Cinnamon Roll Wreath

    Ingredients

    • 1 c. Water
    • 1 c. Lowfat milk
    • 2 x 16 ounce. Packages Warm roll mix
    • 3/4 c. Butter - softened
    • 1/3 c. Sugar
    • 2 lrg Large eggs - lightly beaten
    • 3/4 c. Butter - melted and divided
    • 3/4 c. Grnd red cinnamon candies
    • 1/3 c. Sugar
    • 1 1/2 tsp Grnd cinnamon
    • 3 c. Sifted powdered sugar
    • 1/3 c. Lowfat milk
    •     Additional red cinnamon candies

    Directions

    1. Directions: Combine the water and lowfat milk in a sauce pan and cook over medium heat till the mix reaches 120-130 degrees. Combine the warm roll mixes, softened butter, 1/3 c. sugar, and Large eggs in a large bowl. Add in the warm lowfat milk mix and stir well. Cover and let stand for 5 min. Divide the dough into 4 portions. Place 1 portion onto a floured surface and roll dough to a 20" x 7" rectangle. Brush with the melted butter. Combine the grnd cinnamon candies, 1/3 c. sugar, and grnd cinnamon. Sprinkle 1/4 of the candy mix over the dough. Roll up the dough, jelly roll fashion. Healthy pinch seam to seal. Cut into 1/2" slices. Place a 6" round cake pan in the center of a pizza pan. Spray both pans with cooking spray. Begin arranging the rolls around the cake pan, piling up roll slices several layers deep.
    2. Repeat procedure 3 times with remaining dough, butter, and candy mix.
    3. Let the roll wreath rise in a hot place for 30 min till doubled in bulk. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 min till golden brown. Cold slightly.
    4. Remove cake pan from center of the wreath. Combine the powdered sugar with 1/3 c. lowfat milk and stir. Drizzle over hot rolls. Sprinkle with additional candies.
