    Ingredients

    • 1 lb hamburger meat
    • 12 party size hamburger buns
    • 1 large red onion, sliced
    • 3 tbsp mayonnaise
    • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
    • 1 tsp onion powder
    • 1/2 tbsp cayenne pepper
    • salt and pepper

    Directions

    1. To begin on this hamburger meat recipe, cut the beef into small cubes measuring about an inch each.
    2. Next, spread the cubed beef in layers and then spice evenly. For binding, I use some fresh bread crumbs soaked in cool stock and a little egg which is spread evenly over the meat at this point.
    3. Mix everything lightly with your hands and then place the mixture in the freezer until it becomes very cold but not frozen.
    4. Follow the manufacturer instructions when grinding your meat.
    5. To prepare your hamburger patties, mix the meat, with spices such as onion powder, salt and pepper to taste, and form them into several mini burgers.
    6. Place your burgers on a skillet or grill and add some slices of red onion around them such that they cook in the juices of your hamburgers.
    7. As the hamburgers are cooking, mix together some mayo, cayenne pepper, Dijon mustard, salt and pepper.
    8. Once done, remove your burgers and onion slices. Drain the grease from the skillet and then use it to toast your buns.
    9. Place some mayo mixture onto the bottom bun, followed by a burger and top it off with some onion and the top bun.
