Microwave Stuffed Green Peppers
Ingredients
- 5 med. to lg. green peppers, cut in half with stems, seeds and membranes removed
- 2 lbs. grnd beef
- 1 c. minced onions
- 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 beaten egg
- 1/2 c. precooked Minute rice
- 1 (15 ounce.) can tomato sauce
- Salt, pepper and garlic salt to taste
Directions
- Arrange pepper halves snugly in microwave dish. Mix together rest of ingredients. Stuff pepper halves with meat mix and pour another can of tomato sauce over filled peppers. Cover with plastic. Cook in microwave on almost high (80-90%) for 15 min; baste with juices and cook for 15 min longer.
