• Mexican Appetizer Layered Torte

    • 2 (8 ounce) pkg. cream cheese, softened
    • 1 T lowfat milk
    • 1 c. guacamole or possibly 6 ounce container guacamole dip, thawed
    • 1/2 c. minced ripe olives
    • 2 ounce (1/2 c.) shredded Cheddar cheese
    • 1 c. refried beans
    • Tomato salsa


    1. Line 1 1/2 qt bowl or possibly mold with plastic wrap. In small bowl, beat cream cheese and lowfat milk till smooth. Spread 1/4 of cream cheese mix evenly in bottom of prepared bowl. Top with guacamole; spread with 1/4 of cream cheese mix; sprinkle evenly with olives and cheese; spread with 1/4 of cream cheese mix; spread evenly with refried beans; spread with remaining cream cheese mix.Cover; chill 1-1 1/2 hrs or possibly till hard. Unmold onto serving tray; remove plastic wrap; top with salsa. Garnish as desired. Serve with assorted crackers or possibly tortilla chips. 5 cups.
