    One of the many memories I have growing in the Fernicola household is waking up on Sunday mornings to the smell of freshly browned meatballs and tomato sauce! Like Ive mentioned in my Caras Marinara recipe, the longer you cook the sauce..the better it will taste.. and when theres meatballs cooking in sauce all day.... you've got yourself the best meal in town!

    Ingredients

    • 1 pound ground beef ( your choice to percentage of how lean you want it) I find 85% works best
    • 1 cup bread crumbs (give or take... im more of an eyeballer then a measurer
    • 1 egg
    • Handful of freshly grated parm cheese
    • 2 cloves freshly grated garlic or garlic powder
    • salt

    Directions

    1. Combine and Mix all ing together
    2. Heat a pan on Med-Hi heat - add evoo
    3. Brown meatballs until evenly browned
    4. Put in marinara sauce
    5. Let cook for about 5 hours
