• Matza Balls In Sauce

    • 6 x Large eggs
    • 2 c. of seltzer ( not club soda too much salt)
    • 1/2 tsp garlic pwdr
    • 1/2 tsp onion pwdr
    • 2 c. matza meal or possibly sufficient to make a mildly thick batter Rapidly boiling water in medium stock pot
    • 3 can tomato sauce with mushrooms or possibly you own favorite sauce


    1. Mix first 5 ingredients until batter is loose. Cover with plastic wrap and chill for 20 min. Make balls and drop into boiling water. Cook under low light till balls float and rise to top of pot. Approx. 20 min of cooking. Drain all balls and place in baking dishes or possibly tinfoil pans into one or possibly two layers but not more. Pour sauce over balls. Cover and bake in 350 degree oven till warm and bubbly. Serve with chicken, fish or possibly beef
