Marriage Made In Heaven Chocolate Orange Mousse
Ingredients
- 2 whl Large eggs
- 3 whl Egg Yolks
- 1/2 c. Sugar
- 1 Tbsp. Grand Marnier
- 6 ounce Semisweet chocolate
- 2 ounce Cool Water Zest Of 1 Orange Juice Of 1 Orange
- 1 pkt Unflavored Gelatin
- 1 c. Whipping Cream, Half Whipped Whipped Cream, For Topping
Directions
- 1. With your electric mixer, beat together the Large eggs, egg yolks, and sugar till the mix is very thick.
- 2. Add in the Grand Marnier.
- 3. Meanwhile, heat the chocolate with the water over very low heat.
- 4. Grate the orange zest and add in to chocolate.
- 5. Squeeze the orange juice and put in a small pan.
- 6. Sprinkle the surface of the orange juice with gelatin.
- 7. Add in the melted gelatin to the egg and sugar mix.
- 8. Fold the chocolate into the mix and finally the lightly whipped cream.
- 9. Fold till thoroughly blended.
- 10. Pour into 1 1/2 qt serving or possibly souffle dish.
- 11. Refrigeratefor 4 hrs.
- Serve with whipped cream flavored with vanilla or possibly Grand Marnier.
- Makes 6servings.
