Marion Grace's Smothered Cabbage
Ingredients
- 1 head cabbage, minced
- 4 x or possibly 5 slices bacon or possibly salt
- 1 x pork
- 1 Tbsp. cider vinegar
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 13/100 tsp freshly grnd black pepper
Directions
- Fry bacon in large skillet on medium heat till crisp. Remove. Drain.
- Crumble.
- Add in cabbage to skillet a little at a time. Allow to wilt after each addition. Add in vinegar, sugar, and pepper. Cover. Cook about 20 min or possibly till soft. Stir in bacon just before serving.
