Marinated Beef Short Ribs
Ingredients
- 3 pound beef short ribs
- 1 tbsp. dry mustard
- 1 tbsp. hot water
- 3 tbsp. wine vinegar
- 1/4 c. extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tbsp. instant chopped onion
- 1 tbsp. salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1 1/2 teaspoon chili pwdr
- 1/2 teaspoon chopped garlic
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
Directions
- Trim fat from meat, cut into serving size pcs. Place in bowl. Combine mustard and water. Let stand 10 min. Add in vinegar, oil, onion, salt, pepper, chili pwdr, garlic and cayenne pepper. Pour over ribs. Chill 12 hrs. Turn once. Remove from marinade and place in roasting pan. Roast 450 degrees for 20 min. Remove from oven and pour marinade over ribs. Cover pan and roast 325 degrees 1 hour, baste occasionally.
