Marie Callender's Corn Bread And Honey Butter

Ingredients

  • 3/4 c. cornmeal
  • 2 1/4 c. flour
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. baking pwdr
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 c. lowfat milk
  • 1 1/2 c. butter melted
  • 3 x Large eggs beaten
  • 1/4 c. honey
  • 1/2 c. butter - (1 stick) softened

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. In a large bowl, mix together corn meal, flour, sugar, baking pwdr and salt. Blend well. Add in lowfat milk, butter and Large eggs to blend. Pour into greased 9- by 13-inch pan. Bake 20 min or possibly till a toothpick comes out clean.
  2. Honey Butter: Mix honey and butter together. Can be stored in refrigerator for one week.
