  • Maple-Chili-Oil :
  • 1 tablespoon + 1 teaspoon coconut oil, (or melted Earth Balance)
  • 1 tablespoons maple syrup
  • ¼ teaspoon chili powder, (I love Penzey's Arizona Dreamin')
  • pinch salt
  • ----
  • 10 pieces butternut squash, peeled, seeded and sliced 1/4 inch thick
  • ¼ of a large Maui or sweet white onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 teaspoon good, aged balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sliced almonds, toasted
