Malaysian Spicy Fried Chicken Wings

- 3 chicken wings - halve at the joints
- 1 tbsp chilly powder
- 1 tsp corn flour
- 1 tsp rice flour
- Salt to taste
- Oil for frying
- To blend/ground
- 4 shallots
- 1 inch fresh turmeric/kunyit (alternatively turmeric powder)
- 1 lemon grass
- 2 red chillies
Directions
- Marinate wings with all the ingredients except oil.
- Gently poke wings all over with a fork for the ingredients to sip inside.
- Marinate for at least 4 hours.
- (note; will be good to place wings in the fridge to keep fresh)
- Bring out and deep fry.
- Drain and serve with sour cream/yoghurt (optional) while still piping hot.
