Macaroni Ham Salad
Ingredients
- 2 c. (8 ounce.) elbow macaroni
- 1 pound cooked ham (1/2-inch thick)
- 1 c. celery, sliced
- 1 med. green pepper, minced
- 3/4 c. black olives, pitted & sliced
- 1/3 c. prepared mustard
- 1/2 c. whipping cream
- 1/3 c. onion, chopped
- 1 tbsp. prepared horseradish
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- Crisp salad greens
- 2 c. cherry tomatoes
Directions
- Cook macaroni according to package directions. Drain in colander. Rinse with cool water; drain. Cut ham in 1/2-inch cubes; combine with macaroni, celery, green pepper and olives; toss to mix. Combine mustard, cream, onion, horseradish, salt, garlic salt and pepper; mix well. Add in dressing to macaroni mix; toss well. Chill.
- Serve on salad greens; garnish with cherry tomatoes. Makes 6 or possibly 8 servings.
