Macaroni And Tuna Salad
Ingredients
- 8 ounce uncooked macaroni noodles
- 1/2 c. reduced-fat mayonnaise
- 1/2 c. fat-free lowfat sour cream
- 2 tsp sugar
- 2 Tbsp. cider vinegar
- 1 Tbsp. prepared mustard
- 1 1/2 c. minced celery
- 1/2 c. minced onion
- 1/3 c. minced green bell pepper
- 1 can water-packed tuna - (6 ounce)
- 1 x egg boiled, minced
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp freshly-grnd black pepper
Directions
- Cook the macaroni according to package directions (but without adding salt), drain thoroughly, and rinse in cool water.
- Combine the mayonnaise, lowfat sour cream, sugar, vinegar, and mustard in a small bowl and mix well.
- Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and toss well. Refrigeratebefore serving.
- This recipe yields 8 servings.
