  • Macaroni And Cheese Ham Bake (Kt)

    Ingredients

    • 2 c. elbow macaroni
    • 1 1/2 Tbsp. Butter Buds(r)
    • 1 Tbsp. dehydrated onion flakes scant
    • 3 Tbsp. flour
    • 1/2 tsp salt
    • 1 pch white pepper
    • 3 c. skim lowfat milk
    • 8 ounce shredded cheddar cheese 2 c.
    • 2 c. cooked ham diced *see note
    • 4 c. broccoli florets

    Directions

    1. *Note: I used Healthy Choice 94% reduced fat grated cheddar cheese. It has a good flavor, melts well and only 1.5 grams per 1/4 c.. I also used frzn broccoli. Increase cooking time if using fresh. Cook pasta according to package directions omitting oil. At the very end of cooking add in broccoli then drain. Make a white sauce using Butter Buds through skim lowfat milk. When thick stir in cheese till melted. Spray a 9 x 13 pan with pam. Add in the macaroni/broccoli and ham. Pour sauce on top. Cover and bake at 350 for 30 min or possibly till warm. Don't overbake.
